Leading up to the BIG day

We got Married!

I never knew the steps leading to marriage would be so full of adventure. This is everything that lead to our marriage in the Provo temple in December

  1. I finished the highly stressful baking class and all cooking classes for good
  2. Oneze my birth Mother came to visit for the wedding
  3. I went up to Idaho with Ben's family for his graduation which made me really want to attend my own.
  4. Had a bridal shower the same day I came back, it was a blast
  5. My little brother Jackson passed away suddenly, and we had a beautiful funeral service.
  6. We got a huge snow storm that lasted until our wedding day.
  7. We got sealed for time and all eternity on January 5th at 10 am.

The night before I think I was so frazzled that I tried to think of every possible thing to do besides going to bed. When I have a lot on my mind I try to keep myself busy so that I don't get stressed, which usually stresses me out even more. ha. One of my dearest friends(of 10 years) Kelsey had me settle down and reminded me that one of Satan's biggest tools is distraction and that instead I should try to focus on the beautiful sealing instead.I got to sleep soon after that because all I could think about was seeing my beautiful Fiance that morning and boy...was he handsome (He's still very handsome)

I love the feeling of peace and love that I felt as Ben and I walked into the Sealing room that morning and every single seat was filled perfectly. Everyone who was supposed to be there was there supporting us and washing us the very best. I love the blessings that were promised to us as we life this adventure of living with your best friend. The rest of the day was perfect and the snow was just the way I was praying for it look like. Everything around us was white and perfect.Unblemished snow is one of my favorite things about winter.

After All that happened in December, We got married and that's the most important thing we could have done moving forward and I feel so blessed because of it!
